About Me
I graduated from UC Berkeley in 1997 with a B.A. in Mathematics. Switching fields, I went to work in the Environmental Energy Technologies Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, CA (not Livermore) for six years. Along the way, I went back to school and got an M.S. Statistics in 2002 from Cal State Hayward, now known as Cal State East Bay. Inspired to continue in Statistics I started the graduate program in Statistical Science at Duke in 2003. I graduated in December 2007 and went to work at NISS.
