I believe that making our code and data available whenever possible is important to promote good statistical practice generally and to ensure reproducibility. New statistical methodology isn’t adopted simply because it works better; it has to be accessible to practitioners in all fields.
- bfa: An R package (interfacing with compiled code) for fitting various Bayesian factor models.
- MPTuner: As part of my undergraduate work I produced MPTuner, a GUI frontend written in Python for tuning the parameters of an algorithm for anomaly detection in sensor networks.
