About me

I'm a third-year Ph.D student in statistics here at Duke University's Department of Statistical Science. I grew up in Katy, Texas (near Houston), and graduated from the Plan II program at the University of Texas at Austin in 2004. I then studied math and statistics for two years on a Marshall Scholarship at Trinity College, Cambridge University.

My research focuses on issues of multiple inference in Bayesian statistics (multiple testing, multiple comparisons, etc.); Bayesian model selection and stochastic computation in high dimensional problems, such as regression models and Gaussian graphical models; and applied work in a variety of different fields.
