15. Meta-Analysis in Practice: A Critical Review of Available Software Alexander J. Sutton, Paul C. Lambert, Martin A. G. Hellmich, Keith R. Abrams, David. R. Jones
This paper reviews existing software packages and outlines the capabilities of each. Six software packages are reviewed, three of which are stand-alone programs written exclusively to carry out meta- analyses (Review Manager, EasyMA, MetaGraphs), two are collections of macros to run on the statistical package SAS, and one (ARCUS) is a general statistical analysis package with meta-analysis options.
