Welcome To My Homepage

Originally from Elk River, Minnesota, I grew up in a town which boasted and welcomed visitors with a sign that read "Where city and country flow together." I attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis (background photo) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a liberal art minor in both Physics and Astronomy. After graduating college in May 2003, I began graduate school in August 2003 at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC in the Statistics department. I received my master's degree in December 2004. I am now a third-year graduate student in the Institute of Statistics and Decision Sciences at Duke University working with Alan Gelfand.
