Instructions for the Final Exam

This exam covers all material from throughout the semester. In particular, new topics covered after Midterm II include:

Everything from the notes, book, and lectures is allowable on this exam. The quizzes are a good guide to the kinds of problems you will see.

Logistics

Answer all questions clearly and concisely; follow all instructions.

You are allowed to use two 8.5 by 11 notesheets containing whatever you want; both sides of the sheet may be used.  You are not permitted to use any other material for the exams, except those provided by the instructor (e.g., the table of normal probabilities from our text).

Bring a calculator and pencils or pens to the exam.

Suggestions for Studying

The best way to study for the exam is to take the practice exam below, which was used in a previous year and covers similar material. Additionally, you should go over the quizzes, review exercises, and homework.
