Print out a fresh copy of the Midterm Exam from the class web page.
Solve it as a home-work problem set.

Solutions should be clear and short and correct.

If you're asked to give a function (such as a p.d.f.), be sure to
give it correctly at EVERY point--- for example, the p..d.f. of the
uniform distribution on the interval [0,2] is NOT 1/2---  it is

           / 1/2,     0 < x < 2 
   f(x) = {
           \   0,     x <= 0 or x >= 2

and the MGF of the Cauchy distribution is
           /   1,     t  = 0
   M(t) = {
           \  00,     t != 0

If you do this homework VERY well then midterm grade will be raised
to at least a `B'.  Note you do have to solve and turn in ALL six
problems, even if you did well on some of them before.
