The 2007 Mitchell Prize is awarded in recognition of an outstanding paper where a Bayesian analysis has been used to solve an important applied problem. The Prize includes a commemorative plaque an award of $1,000.
Eligible papers for the 2007 Mitchell Prize must be published or accepted in a refereed journal or conference proceedings during 2005 or 2006. A paper may be nominated by any of its authors or by any ISBA or SBSS member. A nomination consists of the following:
Papers will be evaluated by the Mitchell Prize Committee. The winner will be announced at the 2008 ISBA World meeting.
